Images Upscale is worth a small pilot for enlarging existing creative assets without a recurring subscription. Review labels, faces and fine texture before publishing. Bigger output is useful only when the details remain appropriate for the image's purpose.

What the tool does

The product page describes 2x and 4x cloud upscaling, JPG/PNG/WebP uploads up to 25 MB, and Basic, Photo, Anime and Screenshot modes. A browser interface does not mean processing stays on your device. Check whether an upload is appropriate before using client or private material.

Credits and one-time pricing

The pricing page lists two free daily credits. A 2x job uses one credit; 4x uses two. One-time packs cost $9.99 for 110 credits, $19.99 for 360, or $49.99 for 1,300, without automatic renewal. The free daily balance does not roll over.

For a hypothetical ten-image batch at 4x, first attempts require twenty credits. Reserve additional credits for alternate settings. A larger pack's lower unit price saves money only if you need the balance; unused purchased capacity is still an upfront expense.

Output size needs checking

The pricing documentation states that larger inputs can be constrained before enlargement, with mode-specific input-pixel ceilings. Therefore a 4x selection should not be read as a promise to quadruple the dimensions of every original upload. Check the downloaded file's actual dimensions against the delivery brief.

Retention descriptions conflict

The product and pricing pages describe guest deletion after seven days and signed-in results retained until deletion. The privacy policy, dated May 4, instead schedules guest and account results for deletion after seven days. Its header also advertises a different daily allowance. Ask the vendor which policy governs your account; do not treat either retention description as independently verified.

A proposed detail-fidelity test

Choose an owned product photo, an illustration and a screenshot containing small text. Keep originals in a separate folder. Write down the details that must not change: a product label, a distinctive edge and the exact text in the screenshot. These are acceptance criteria, not prompts to make the result more attractive.

Start with one image using the daily allowance. Inspect the downloaded result at its intended display size and then zoom in on the protected details. Compare it with ordinary resizing in your existing editor. Record changed text, invented texture, edge halos and obvious sharpening artifacts separately.

Try a second mode only when you can explain which failure it might resolve. More attempts should answer a question rather than become an open-ended search for a perfect image. Retain rejected results and the chosen settings so you can understand the real correction cost.

Who should consider it?

Consider a pilot for owned illustrations or product imagery where human review is practical. Prefer the original high-resolution asset when accurate detail is essential. Rebuilding a graphic from its source can be more dependable than repeatedly enhancing a compressed copy.
