Short answer

Approve AI ad assets against a factual product reference, not against how impressive they look. Keep product accuracy, export quality and advertising performance as separate gates.

AIProductAds offers product-photo-to-creative workflows, while Photoshoot.app describes reference-led product scenes. These descriptions motivate a useful buyer test; they do not establish that either service preserves every product detail. The procedure below is a proposed review workflow.

1. Create the reference sheet

Choose a product you own and photograph the front, side and label. Record its actual color, dimensions, controls, package quantity and included accessories. List approved claims and prohibited implications, such as an accessory that is not included.

Give each source image an identifier. Keep the factual reference outside the generation platform so accepted outputs can always be compared with an unchanged original. Obtain permission before using a person's likeness or a client-owned product design.

2. Constrain the first brief

Start with a plain background and one simple camera movement. Specify which details must remain unchanged. Avoid adding a testimonial, physical demonstration and elaborate scene in the same initial test; too many moving parts make the source of a failure hard to diagnose.

Generate a small fixed batch with one setting change at a time. Keep rejected outputs and their reason codes. If every candidate changes the label, do not select the least obvious error simply because the batch budget is exhausted.

3. Review stills and motion separately

Inspect label spelling, proportions, closures and included objects at the actual export resolution. Then watch the full video slowly and at normal speed. A logo can be correct in the opening frame and mutate for half a second during motion.

Ask a reviewer who has not seen the prompt to describe what the product does and what is included. Compare their interpretation with the reference sheet. A scene that unintentionally implies waterproofing or an included charger needs revision even when no explicit text makes that claim.

4. Test the final channel

Export the required vertical, square or landscape version. Check crops, readable text, audio and file dimensions in an ordinary player. Review any generated voiceover against the approved claims. Do not infer export entitlement from a free preview.

Place the asset into a draft of its real destination and inspect it on a phone. A caption or crop can change how a scene is interpreted. Keep factual catalog photography available when a stylized scene would otherwise become the buyer's only product reference.

5. Measure accepted-asset cost

Use total generation spend divided by approved assets, then add review and correction time. Include charged outputs you rejected. Compare with a conventional edit or small shoot using the same brief.

An approved asset can enter a separate campaign test with tagged links and a defined outcome. Avoid claiming that visual approval proves conversion lift. Keep the audience, spend and observation period visible when comparing campaign results.

Failure drill and release criteria

Make a private test copy with one changed label digit and one extra accessory. Confirm the reviewer rejects both. Before release, require a match to the reference sheet, approved claims, usable exports and a named approver. Keep versions and source references with the final file.

Frequently asked questions

Is a realistic product video evidence of real performance?

No. Compare the scene and implied claims with the actual product and approved evidence.

Should rejected generations count in cost?
