Short answer

Shortlist Kahrbon if the same team manages office arrivals and meeting follow-through. Evaluate those jobs separately before deciding a shared platform is worthwhile. A business with no reception needs may prefer a focused meeting tool.

Evidence and review scope

This review follows submission #333. We checked the official product and pricing pages on October 27, 2026. This is a research review, not an installed-product test. We assign no numerical rating and use ordinary product links without an affiliate arrangement.

What the product documents

The homepage describes kiosk check-in, host alerts and a shared staff directory. It says AssemblyAI transcribes meetings with speaker labels and Claude drafts minutes and action items. These are vendor statements; transcription accuracy and action ownership have not been independently tested here.

The useful buying question is whether a shared directory reduces administration for your office. Draw the current arrival and meeting processes before evaluating a replacement. A long feature list is less useful than knowing who maintains staff records and resolves missing notifications.

Pricing and trial boundaries

The pricing page offers a 15-day trial without a card; ongoing prices require contacting sales. It documents QR check-in, visit-history CSV export, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace directory connections, passkeys and an audit log. These features do not establish a security certification. The page asks customers to contact the company about retention after cancellation.

Ask for a written quote covering locations, people, meeting allowances, onboarding and export access. Confirm which meeting capabilities are included: the checked pricing page focuses on visitor management. A trial is temporary access, not a permanent free plan.

Proposed pilot: one location and one fictional meeting

Choose a low-traffic reception period. Add fictional guests and a small approved staff group; avoid importing a full directory before the access scope is understood. Check a normal arrival, the wrong host and a guest leaving. Record whether the host notification arrives and whether staff can correct a mistake without sharing an administrator account.

For meeting evaluation, use an explicitly approved scripted call. Include a tentative action, an unassigned task and a changed deadline. Compare the generated notes with your script. A fluent summary fails if it invents an owner or turns a proposal into a decision. Do not let generated tasks become commitments until a participant approves them.

Check the complete exit path

Try the documented visit-history export before the trial ends. Separately ask how to retrieve recordings, transcripts and decisions; a visitor CSV does not establish export coverage for every module. Request the retention and deletion procedure in writing. Identify who can access each record type and remove trial participants afterward.

Who should consider it?

Kahrbon is a candidate for an office team with both reception and meeting coordination problems. Skip a broad rollout if only one workflow proves useful or the quote cannot be compared with your current costs. This proposed pilot supplies questions, not measured results.

See the Kahrbon profile, compare candidates in the Tool Finder, and record requirements in the buyer checklist.
