XOXI Review: AI Portfolios, Verification and Hiring Fit

XOXI combines hosted portfolios with organization-approved credentials; test CV accuracy and public visibility before publishing your profile.

The about page describes portfolios made manually, from an AI prompt or from a CV. Work and education entries gain a verified tag when the linked organization approves them. It also describes one-click applications, internal messaging and AI applicant assessments. Approval is a platform workflow, not proof that every listed credential has been independently checked.

The homepage lists free portfolio hosting, launch-sale Pro at $0.99/month versus a stated normal $4.99, and Business at $1.99 versus $9.99. Treat these as promotional prices. Verify checkout, renewal rate and which hiring functions require a business account. No discounted rate is assumed permanent.

Public portfolios can expose employment history and contact details. Inspect visibility controls and the rendered public page. The about page describes section controls and private draft mode; we have not tested them. Ask how CV uploads, applicant data and AI assessments are retained and deleted. An AI match score should support a human review, not establish whether someone can do a job.

Create a synthetic CV with two similar employer names, a career gap and one deliberately incomplete date. Import it and compare each extracted fact with the source. Check that the model has not invented achievements or expanded responsibilities. Make a manual correction and confirm it survives another edit.

Preview on mobile, then examine the public link from a signed-out session. Hide one section and switch the portfolio to draft; check the resulting visibility before uploading a real CV. If verification matters, establish whether your employer or school actually participates rather than assuming a badge can be obtained.

For a hiring pilot, use consented sample profiles and a written rubric. Have a person assess qualifications before seeing the AI output. Inspect disagreements and missing evidence. A polished written assessment is not validation of the ranking. Test application-status updates and export fidelity with disposable records.

Keep a worksheet with the original input, expected outcome, actual output, editing minutes, credits consumed and accepted or rejected. Count rejected generations in your cost per usable result. Set your spending limit before the trial. An attractive vendor example does not establish an average success rate.

A personal website plus an ordinary CV offers more direct control.
